About me
I have worked in the leather trade for over thirty years, proudly continuing Walsall’s rich heritage in leather craftsmanship. After leaving school in 1992, I attended Walsall Leather College, where I first learned to use an industrial sewing machine—an essential skill that laid the foundation for my career.
Over the years, I have worked with several leather companies throughout Walsall, gaining experience in every stage of the craft, from leather preparation and pattern making to cutting, machining, and finishing products to the highest standards. My hands-on experience spans a wide range of leather goods, including bags, wallets, shooting accessories, saddlery, golf and equestrian items, car interiors, and even furniture.
While I take great pride in my work, I have grown increasingly concerned about the decline of the leather industry in the UK. I am deeply passionate about preserving this traditional trade by celebrating its quality, heritage, and the skills that define it. Through my work, I aim to honor and sustain British leathercraft for future generations.
